Friday November 7th Film Screening, La Jolla, CA

In November 2014, JSLF is participating in two centenary–related events in San Diego, the first of which is a film screening of Steeltown Entertainment‘s “The Shot Felt ‘Round the World” hosted by the Union Tribune at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Registration is free, and guests will receive copies of the Smithsonian Channel’s revised version of the film, “A Shot to Save the World,” which they have courteously donated.

Following the film screening, there will be a panel discussion including JSLF’s president Peter Salk, The Scripps Research Institute’s Charles Cochrane, and The Salk Institute’s Geoffrey Wahl.

To register, please visit the Union Tribune’s registration page. The screening will occur on Friday, November 7 from 6 to 8 PM at 700 Prospect Street, La Jolla, CA.

UPDATE (Thurs Nov 6th): We’re told there have been at least 400 RSVPs for this event. Hope to see you there!
